- I feel the need to revise this blurb about me...so here it is. Since being an IAR student, I have discovered a few things about myself. I went into the program because I love how a well designed space can make you feel. I now know that I also have an interest in product design and sustainable design. What peaked my interest was remembering how I could buy so many things for cheap but soon after they would fall apart and looking at some of these objects and thinking how easy it would be to improve them. Sustainability and green building are really important to me as well.

As a whole, your layout is nicely balanced. I like how you have a specific background of a studio space, but how it doesn't overshadow your entire layout. I also enjoy your addition of watercolors. You did a nice job of spreading the right amount of colors across the page.
ReplyDeleteI think you conquered this assignment well. The layout is very similar to a well composed one that you might see in a magazine. The word design streamlining down the left side is nicely balanced by the orange strip of the far right side. Your use of color is not distracting from the others focuses but instead makes them really pop!

It's a very a-symmetrical layout, I really like it. I think you did a good job deciding where to put colors and where to put words. It ended up being very balanced and very pleasing to the eye.
